I’m Bec, a holistic art therapist and practicing artist. From a very young age, I’ve believed that creativity is a bridge to understanding ourselves and the world around us. Each of us carries stories within — waiting to be seen, felt, and expressed. My work grows from this belief, guiding people to connect with their inner world, express emotions safely, and uncover pathways to healing and growth.

I’ve always had a sketchbook and pencil in my hand, capturing anything and everything that caught my eye. I remember walking down to the river in my small hometown, collecting smooth river rocks. On hot summer days, I would rub them onto the rough concrete, add water, and create earthy colors that I painted onto my legs. Patterns, lines, pictures — at the time, it was simply play and exploration.

Looking back now, I see that those moments were more than child’s play. They were early acts of self-expression, curiosity, and connection. I also remember the feeling of creating a “bubble” of safety around myself — drifting away from the outside world and losing myself in the quiet, meditative space of creativity. Those childhood memories are now deeply linked in my mind with the concept of a safe space — a place where creativity and calm coexist.

After the birth of my first child, I returned to my art with renewed intention. At home, creating became my refuge — calming, meditative, freeing. Living with neurodiversity within my family has deeply shaped my understanding of individual needs, learning styles, and the many ways people experience the world. It’s given me insight into creating supportive, flexible, and inclusive spaces where everyone can explore creativity safely and authentically.

Over the next decade, I built a professional arts career, yet something always felt slightly out of alignment. My curiosity about holistic living, spirituality, and the connection between art and inner wellbeing persisted, quietly pulling me forward.

That pull led me to the Master in Holistic Art Therapy through Mind Body Education — a course that illuminated more about myself than I could have imagined. Here, everything aligned: my chakras, my artistic practice, and my deeper spiritual connection. I met my tribe, and for the first time, I felt fully on the path I was meant to be on.

Today, I am driven by the desire to pass this knowledge forward — to guide others, particularly the next generation, in using creativity as a tool for reflection, healing, and growth. Through workshops, one-on-one sessions, and guided exploration, I offer a safe space where your story, your creativity, and your wellbeing come together.
